tomato transformation

   Hello Everyone
 
   Could someone answer a  question on tomato transformation?
   Lycopersion Pennellii. It is easy to induce callus and shoot from explant
   I  succeed  in  making  some  plants  from  explant(leaflet)  of  Lycopersion                   
   Pennellii.
   They was selected in KM 50mg/L(kanamycin) during inducing shoot, callus 
   but GUS expression is negative although T-DNA have a NPTII and Gus gene.
   I don't experiment Southern Blot Analysis or PCR yet!!
   How percent(%) do I guess  about a transgenic tomato ?
   Have you ever gotten the same result?
   could someone explain it to me?
   I would appreciate any information on this subject.
