Citronella (oil) is supposed to be a mosquito repellant.

Can someone give more details about its properties and how it is extracted ?

What are the plants/herbs in which it is found and at what quantities(%)?

Is there any other plant/herb with mosquito repellant properties - if so what 
are the active ingredients.
