I had a beautiful ficus tree at work. It was doing fine and when I
returned from vacation it began to die back slowly, one branch at a time,
starting from the bottom and working its way to the top of the plant. The
leaves began by turning yellow, then brown, and finally falling. I asked a
coworker to water when I was away. Could my suspicion be right that it was
overwatered, or could there be another cause for its demise?
