African Violets

Does anybody know what the optimal soil temp is for rooting leave
cuttings, 70, 75, 80 degrees how about as high as 85 or 90 degrees. I
have heating cables but what is to warm. How do you convert foot candles
into lux measurement, I have a light meter that measures in lux. Also
does anybody know it African Violets are self fertile or does it take
the pollen from one plant to fertilize the ovary of another. Thanks for
