As I don't know which plant is being analyzed I think perhaps the
extranuclear inheritance takes place here or rather the cytoplasmic
inheritance when the factors of plants coloration (plastids) are
transferred with cytoplasm of sexual cells (ovule or sperm). For example
the character of geranium and chlorophytum leaves coloration is just
stipulated with such inheritance type.
