I read your article, Efficiency of photosynthesis in continuous and pulsed light emitting diode Irradiation. No doubt there is new information since this was published. I would like to build my own LED source for tomatoes. Could you please answer a few questions? I'll list them in a column, so you can respond easily. What is the best frequency(ies) to promote tomato germination and growth? Is there any growth advantage to pulsing my LED light? If there is an advantage, what frequency and duty cycle works best? Should the light be on all the time or should there be a darkness period? How long? There are a million other questions I would love to ask you, but an answer to the few above will allow me to build my grow light in time for the spring garden. Thanks again for you support. As I am looking for a method urgently, I thought I will send this mail to you to get any info possible. My plan is to use sand perlite mix for growing some surface sterilised seeds in vitro. I would really appreciate it much if you could send me any info at your earliest please. best wishes from the Agric Univ in Uppsala in Sweden. The purpose of the meeting was to bring a broad group of stakeholders together to discuss the outcomes of the first ten years of the US National Plant Genome Initiative (NPGI) as well as the challenges and opportunities ahead for the next five to ten years. The NPGI started in 1998 and is managed by the Interagency Working Group on Plant Genomes (IWG-PG). The IWG-PG is currently in the process of developing a new five-year plan using a variety of inputs, including the outcomes of this workshop. I hope that you find the information provided useful.
