If one were to Deciliate a unicellular organism, such as Chlamydomonas, would the cilia gorw back quickly or not? and does the tubulin come from pools, protein synthesis or both? and to what degree? perhaps one could inhibit protein synthesis and see hoe big the tubulin reserves are. Any comments or suggestions?
