Faculty are sought in the areas of molecular modeling or computational
biology/chemistry, with emphasis on hormonally active environmental
chemicals.
As part of the unique and prestigious NSF JFAP, these assistant
professors will

molecular basis of response of developing neural tissues to injury
induced by
environmental exposure. Developmental "endocrine disruption" by specific
environmental contaminants will also be pursued. Systems include
developing
mammalian and frog embryos, organotypic brain slice cultures, neural
cell line
culture, and yeast/human receptor assays, with emphasis at all
levels on cytokine
and hormonal regulation of neural function. Methods to be employed
