I'm doing my research with hellbenders, and I need some help. We did some hematologic and serum chemistry analysis for hellbenders blood. However there's is hardly any information regarding baseline parameters for these amphibians or urodeles (at least to my knowledge). I'm trying to obtain information regarding: hematocrit, WBC, Heterophils, Absolute neutrophils, lymphocytes, absolute lymphocytes, monocytes, absolute monocytes, eosinophils, absolute eosinophils, basophils, absolute basophils, glucose, urea nitrogen, total protein, albumin, AST, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, chloride, globulin, CPK, uric acid. I was wondering if anybody may have information regarding these parameters for hellbenders or axolotls or other urodeles, and if it will be possible for me to obtain some of the data, so I can use it for a comparison? Thank you so much for your time and help, I really appreciate it. Sincerely, Mauricio ************************************************************************ *** Mauricio Solis Graduate Student of Applied and Environmental Biology 105 Schrenk Hall Department Of Biological Sciences University of Missouri-Rolla Rolla, MO 65409 Lab.
