Jack Tuszynski and I have proposed a program for "Genome Physics in Development, Regeneration, and Cancer" to be funded by Genome Canada (http:// www.genomecanada.ca/). (Note the emphasis on urodeles.) We would appreciate a two sentence letter of support from you in the format below by the deadline Friday December 15, 2006. If you would like any axolotls earlier than the 8th of January (Jan. 2nd - 5th), just let us know and we should be able to ship some then, too. We will still continue to ship out any orders for food or other supplies that are non-perishable. We have quite a few (150+) larvae GFP-expressing axolotls between 2-4 cm and about 200-300 GFP embryos (75% are positive GFP-expressing) around gastrula stage (stage 10) at the moment, but will likely hatch around the first of the year. So, if anyone is interested in obtaining any of these, please let us know. Prices we have set for the GFP-expressing axolotls are below. Material Type Price ($/each) GFP embryos (75% expressing) $1.00 available upon request GFP hatchlings $1.50 available GFP 2-3 cm larvae $2.00 available GFP 3-5 cm larvae $6.00 available GFP 5-8 cm juveniles $20.00 not yet available GFP 8-12 cm juveniles $30.00 not yet available GFP sub-adults $36.00 not yet available GFP adults $60.00 not yet available Thank you to everyone who has responded to our request for information for our "Users List".
