I am writing an historical perspective on a researcher who
spent the last years of his life doing work on viral induced
cancer. Can anyone give me background information on who (and when),
specifically, proposed the notion that viruses caused cancer, and
how this research came about. Also, the names of the primary players,
then and now, in research of viral induced cancer would be most
helpful.
