Has anyone had any experience with 2D-gel electrophoresis of viruses or viral proteins? Is it likely that capsid proteins will form aggregates or "self-assemble" as they focus at their isoelectric point in the first dimension? Any ideas in this area would be appreciated. Thanks Kerry
