        ASSISTANT/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
        IMMUNOLOGY/ INFECTIOUS DISEASE


Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans is seeking
applicants for a 12 month tenure track faculty position in the Department
of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology. Applicants must have a Ph.D
or M.D. and a commitment to teach at the graduate level as well as to
Medical, Dental and Nursing students. Strong consideration will be given to
candidates with a research emphasis in Immunology as related to the
molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis of infectious diseases. In addition,
we seek an individual who has demonstrated potential to establish an
independent extramurally funded research program. Applicants should submit
a curriculum vitae with a list of publications, a statement of present and
