West Chester University has opened a search for a ZOOLOGIST to fill a tenure
track position at the assistant professor level. The position will start
August 1996. The specific area of research interest is open, but a PhD (or
equivalent) is required. Teaching responsibilities may include general
zoology (invertebrate and vertebrate), human anatomy and physiology for non-
biology majors, and comparative anatomy. The candidate will be expected to
teach an upper division course in her specialty, and may expect to teach in
senior seminar, introductory biology, or the graduate program, as requested.
The Biology Department at West Chester University currently consists of 19
tenured/tenure track faculty, 8 of whom are women. Interested candidates
