"alternative" career paths

What about science (medical) illustration or working in a forensic lab?
How about starting up a placement service? What about working in
clinical surroundings? Clinical labs are going molecular and need
people who can run these type of labs. How about genetic counseling
for families? What about the issues concerning ethics dealing with
gene therapy, insurance co., etc.?
How about writing science books and fun experiments for children?
Junior colleges and four year colleges are looking for people to run
the wet labs for classes. A lot of money is going into defining
compounds in plants which may have biological action against some
diseases. Pharmacology has hit an explosion in growth. Just a few
things to think about for an alternative career path.
