Regarding Sara's suggestion that introvert/extrovert
differences may contribute to public acknowledgement
of scientists, I'd like to recommend the film
"Glory Enough for All" about Banting and McCloud and
the discovery of insulin -- it gives a really good
example of these differences and how they interfere
with collaboration. My students gave me very insightful
papers on it.
