For presentation:
1) Make sure that you practice and can fit into your allotted
time slot. Too many speakers prepare talks that are way too
long. So they're forced to cut off the talk before it gets
to the interesting part.
2) Be conscious of where you are standing if you use overheads/slides.
I get really annoyed if the person continually blocks the
screen so that most in the audience can't see the overhead.
again, this is something that a practice session can clear up.
