Thanks to Susan Forsburg, I have gotten up the courage to participate in
your list. I admit to being every thing I identified in the post placed on
the list "Where We Were". Added a post regarding posters which is very
much within my realm of expertise. Also be sure that you have an extremely
sharp "sciving" knife if you are doing traditional heavy paper posters, It
is also a good idea to carry the large posters to the meeting in a padded
portfolio case. I will participate when I feel that I can add to your
discussions.
Some threads that I would like to see on the list are the the following:
1. Need for child care--for women scientists
This is very apt because of the Clinton Initiative on Child Care
2. Ethics in Science---
