If you could do it all over again...

A question for all women with children who are tenured faculty with grad
school and postdoc behind them:

If you had to (could) do it all over again, when would you have elected to
have children? I know of people who have had kids at every single stage
of career development. It's clearly disruptive to the male model of doing
science (long days, wife at home with kids), and you can't ever expect
things to even remotely resemble life prekids, but when would you say is
the wisest time, career wise? From my vantage point, I'm suspecting that
graduate school would have probably been the best time, but that window is
shut (and I hadn't met my mate yet). I'm wondering if anyone here has any
20/20 hindsight they'd like to share.
