San Diego women in biology may want to consider attending the
fourth Women in Bioscience conference on 8 May 1999.
This is cosponsored by AWIS, and is held every other
year. It features workshops on topics on a wide range of issues relevant
to careers in academe, industry, law, or anything in between.
I attended the last two conferences and they were excellent.
It's a great opportunity to meet a wide range of women
biologists in the area. THere's a web site at
