I would like to draw your attention to the plant systematic Postgraduate
Scholarship that was offered as part of a series of Postgraduate
Scholarships, by the Cooperative Research Centre for Australian Weed
management (Weeds CRC), in an advertisement in The Weekend
Australian 1-2 December 2001, pp 14.
The plant systematic scholarship offered is for working on the evolutionary
relationships in the Verbenaceae with particular emphasis on invasive
taxa within the genus Lantana. The successful applicant will be based at
CSIRO Plant Industries, Canberra.

The scholarship is offered by the Cooperative Research Centre for
Australian Weed management (Weeds CRC). The scholarship is for a
three-year period, subject to satisfactory progress and approved
continuation of funding by the Weeds CRC. Applicants shout have a good
Honours degree or equivalent, and have excellent quantitative skills.
