Gosh, Susan, I remember being pretty militant on this
group without anybody suggesting that I had a career worth
worrying about :-)

Here's what I'd like to know: does AAAS have a group working
on gender equity issues? Even more important than stereotypic
'women's issues,' I would think, would be some kind of 40-hour
work week accepted as the standard for scientists of both sexes,
and where else to work for this than through the AAAS?

By the way, I posted a list of feminist books I've been reading
and can't see it on my netscape news connection to the newsgroup,
though it appears on the web site. Can you see it, or do I need
to repost it?
