I read this group for updates on the outside world, validation of the
frustrations I feel with what I see, and, in general, civil
conversation. It's a relaxing break I give myself once a month or so.
A warning to any lurkers, though -- I notice that every time I post
something, I get a spurt of spam to my e-mail account. Not responses to
what I've said, but offers of MAKE MONEY QUICK and HOT SEX and the
like. Be prepared, up your shields, or . . . could one of you with fake
characters in your signature tell the rest of us how?
