The National Center for Natural Products Research is seeking qualified
R&D Botanist. This position is located at the Center's Medicinal plant
garden. This position is in support of an existing program and subject to
continued funding.
Duties: Working independently, the successful candidate will collect live
plants and germplasm in support of lead compound discovery and
medicinal plant crop improvement activities.
Qualifications: Master's degree or a bachelor's degree with five years
experience, and knowledge of botany, plant taxonomy, plant identifiction,
wild plant collection, plant sampling and germplasm acquisition required.
