I downloaded the dps software binaries from Cornell to install on my
PC, which is running Linux (Debian v2.0, kernel 2.0.34). However, on
trying to run the adxv and processing_gui binaries, I get an error
message "Can't load library libXm.so.2". I am assuming that this is
the Motif shared library. I tried compiling the Lesstif libraries
with --build-enable-20, which produced a libXm.so.2, however, when I
put this in place the programs just segfault instead.
Has anybody else tried this and had the same problem? Am I right in
thinking that it would be necessary for those who do not have the
Motif libraries to use statically linked binaries, or have I missed
Thanks for any advice,
PS. please note my return address is mangled. I am happy to read here
if you don't want to decode my sig. below.
