A position is open for a Research Technician III in the group of Dr. Wim
Hol in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, University of Washington,
Seattle. The successful candidate will be responsible for protein
purification, protein characterization and in particular protein
crystallization. General laboratory management is also part of the
responsibilities. A major goal of the laboratory is to determine high
resolution structures of medically relevant protein molecules, in
particular, complexed with designed and discovered high affinity
ligands, as part of multi-disciplinary structure-based drug design
Qualifications: B.S. degree with 4 or more years of experience in
protein purification or crystallization.
