gopher on bitnet - it works!

Dear Francis et al.,
1. Thanks for the reference to the Singapore mail gopher!
2. It took me a while before I tried it since first there were more 
important things to do and then our computer suffered a system disk
crash. So, now I finally tried and found that, on good days, one
really can get a result back within minutes (or overnight on bad
days; the problem is that one never knows which sort of day is it
just now).
3. Conclusion: It works and it is a GOOD THING to know about; and
it is complicated enough to persuade the boss that we really need
a direct connection to Internet...
