Phloxin B is it Magdala Red?

Dear Yeasties,
Just another note about Phloxin B. I got out my original
reference to Phloxin(e) B. This reference : Middelhoven, W.J.,
Broekhuizen, B. and van Eijk, J. J. Bacteriol 128(3) p851-852 (1976)
states "The dye phloxine B (tetrabromotetrachloro-fluorescein also named
acid red 92 or magdala red) ..." My bottle of Phloxin B from Sigma
also says "magdala red technical". It doesn't really matter, but be aware
that some sources do refer to Phloxin B as magdala red.
