1 kb DNA Ladder

	Does anybody know why the 1 kb DNA Ladder hybridizes with an 
yeast DNA probe? 
	I read in the GIBCO BRL  catalogue that this molecular size 
contains vector DNA fragments. I looked for more details but I didn't 
found. Does anybody know which is the "vector" they used to construct 
this marker?? I had three beautiful bands after hybridizations experiments 
using LEU2 gene like a probe (1,636; 506 and 396 pb). Have already 
happened the same with someone?
