GFP help please

Hi,
I'm trying to localize a protein (roughly) using a GFP tag, and was
wondering if the tag is supposed to fluoresce under UV light.  I can see
greenish-yellow things under the fluorescent light and when I switch to
the
UV filter, they are still there.  These yellowish dots are present only at
a low frequency in my vector control.
