POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE/Plant Molecular Biology: To study the
molecular biology of the antioxidant defense system in maize. Ph.D. in
molecular biology or related area required. Preference will be given to
individual with expertise in gene characterization and expression,
transgenic analysis, promoter
and footprinting analyses, and expertise with general molecular methods.
Overall effort will be towards elucidating regulatory mechanisms affecting
antioxidant gene
expression in response to environmental and developmental singals.
Salary  will depend upon background and expertise, and position is
