[Yeast] PCR from yeast plasmid

Dear Nick,

I read an old (very old) message from you on web. 
In this message, you said that you had problems 
to make PCR on plasmids isolated from yeast.
I have the same problem. I can do transformation 
in bacteria, then enzymatic restriction, but PCR and sequencing dont work.
I would be very pleased if you could help me.
