A postdoctoral fellowship position is available immediately for
candidates interested in pursuing a genetic analysis of pronephric
development in zebrafish. Areas of study include positional cloning
of genes required for epithelial development and function, mapping
and functional analysis of known candidate genes essential for
epithelial cell polarity, patterning of nephron domains, and
development of tissue specific GFP expressing lines as a prelude
to mutagenesis screens for genes affecting kidney development.
